Measuring your bed for a comforter
When you order a comforter, measure the length and width of your mattress to confirm the comforter will fit the bed.
The width of your comforter will be the width of your bed, plus twice the drop you would like. For example: A queen 60 x 80 with a 15" standard drop will be 90 inches wide (60 + 15 + 15 = 90).
The length of your comforter will be the length of your mattress, plus the drop. For example: A queen 60 x 80 with a 15" standard drop will be 95 inches long (80 + 15 = 95).
When you have an extra deep mattress, be sure to measure that distance for the drop you need, as it will be greater than the standard distance.
